Winning an INDEX™17 Award is the highest accolade that can be given to a company in the nonwovens and related industries. These awards recognise innovative, cooperative, creative and sustainable achievements in nonwovens. They are open to any EDANA member company or INDEX™17 exhibitor.

Discover for this edition a brand new complementary award "Cooperative Innovation"; This category aims to reward successful cooperation bewteen industry and (non-commercial) centres of excellence.
Applications with samples and supporting details (as applicable) were due 12th December 2016.

The Awards ceremony will be held on 4th April, 2017 - the first day of the INDEX™17 exhibition - at 10.00 on the EDANA booth (1526) and will include a highly publicised launch with media coverage.

Focusing on transportation, healthcare, geotextiles and filtration, each session will be launched with a leading speaker to take a step beyond our industry and look at the global forces driving each area. From water scarcity to ageing populations, from the rise of autonomous vehicles to the demand for more sustainable and cost-effective infrastructures, “Big Picture” speakers will address the global megatrends affecting, and influencing each of the applications areas.

Following each speaker, each session will then feature 3-4 speakers who will address the key challenges being met by nonwovens, and how through interconnections, the nonwovens and related industries are providing answers to the world’s biggest and most important questions – how do we, as a society, continue both to care and function effectively. Starting each day at 14.00 in room S:

The Continental briefings at INDEX™17 are a brand-new concept and consist of a series of presentations for anyone interested in the status of the global nonwovens industry.

Experts from key associations around the world provide INDEX™17 participants with industry updates on their own continent.

These Continental Briefings can be attended throughout the exhibition week from 11.30 at the EDANA booth (1526).

These free one-hour tutorials are intended for newcomers to the industry, or any interested potential user of nonwovens in one or more of their multiple end-uses. They provide fundamental entry-level information and valuable insights into the use of these versatile materials in different markets. They can be attended in the exhibition hall in Room T.
