Waterproofing bituminous membranes

EDANA and its members in the waterproofing bituminous membranes sector have a 20 years-long history of unique cooperation in non-competitive areas such as sustainability and market prospectives. With the creation of the Impervius conference in 2019 this unique example of dialogue between proponents of all technologies for the bitumen waterproofing membranes, including but not exclusively nonwovens ones have been extended to more players in the field.

The significance of waterproofing bituminous membranes cannot be overstated. These specialized membranes play a pivotal role in ensuring the longevity, durability, and structural integrity of diverse construction projects.

These membranes serve as a formidable barrier against moisture infiltration, safeguarding a wide array of materials and structures from the deleterious effects of water exposure. They allow flexibility and adaptability, making them ideal for application in various construction scenarios.

Furthermore, the use of bituminous membranes offers a cost-effective and environmentally sustainable solution. Their durability reduces the need for frequent maintenance, contributing to the longevity of structures and minimizing the environmental impact associated with repair and replacement.
