Nonwovens Research Academy Already Most Successful Since 2006

Pierre Wiertz, general manager of EDANA, the international trade association representing the nonwovens and related industries, expressed his thanks to the members of the Nonwovens Research Academy Steering Committee, and the speakers, moderators, companies and research personnel that have gone into making this one of the most popular Research Academies in the Association’s history.
17 April, 2012 - Brussels - Pierre Wiertz, general manager of EDANA, the international trade association representing the nonwovens and related industries, expressed his thanks to the members of the Nonwovens Research Academy Steering Committee, and the speakers, moderators, companies and research personnel that have gone into making this one of the most popular Research Academies in the Association’s history.

“While we expect a few final delegates to register in these last few days, I have been overwhelmingly pleased at the response by our industry and the research academies that have supported the NRA in 2012.” said Mr Wiertz. “In addition, I would like to thank the Board of EDANA, for helping us to achieve the large number of industry delegates, who will be eager to listen to and meet the academic and research personnel presenting papers and posters.

The event will also be sponsored by EDANA member companies Mölnlycke and SCA, with participants including middle and senior business representatives, and persons from R&D, technical, and product development areas, as well as Marketing/Technical Directors and senior C-level business management.
