EDANA is pleased to announce the next Marketing Forum on Tuesday 10th March 2009, featuring how the chemical industry (both closed and part of our supply chain) and sustainability and business priorities are likely to be affected by the economic crisis.

Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss the impact of the current economic conditions on the nonwovens and related industries with their peers.

Dr Moncef Hadhri, Chief economist at CEFIC, the European Chemical association will address the profile of the EU chemicals industry, current trends and latest developments, and a short-term analysis of key factors affecting its competitiveness.

Mrs. Maggie Brenneke, Director, Client Services with SustainAbility will look at Sustainability in light of the current economic environment, and what the impact of the economic crisis on sustainability projects is likely to be.  Could sustainability be an opportunity to restore growth and what does it mean for manufacturers, for retailers but also for the consumers?
