Household sewage ejector pump systems are commonly used in residential buildings when a toilet or other plumbing fixture is installed below a building’s main drain-line. The purpose of this test is to assess the compatibility of a product with these systems by ensuring that the product does not clog, accumulate within or otherwise interfere with normal system operation under high usage conditions.

One of 7 core tests, all of which must be passed in order to support a ‘flushable’ claim for a nonwoven sheet designed, marketed or commonly used in a bathroom setting or for toileting purposes.
