The Nonwovens essentials course is designed for you if you find yourself asking questions such as:

The face-to-face Nonwovens essentials course in Brussels - an immersive experience, offering you:

 

  • An interactive course, built on in-person presentations and conversations between participants and instructors, supported by a large range of raw materials, nonwovens and finished products
  • A comprehensive overview of all aspects of nonwovens, technologies, raw materials and applications
  • A guided visit of the CETI facilities on the 3rd day, which is a great opportunity to see demonstrations of many manufacturing technologies
  • A good balance between theory and practical exercises
  • Networking opportunities

The online Nonwovens essentials course, with the same content as the face-to-face course, it features:

 
  • 4 modules of 3 hours each on 4 consecutive mornings (09.30 to 12.30 CET)
  • A mix of presentations, animations and Q&A sessions to optimize the interaction between participants and instructors.
  • A printed handout and a set of samples shipped directly to you, to allow to touch and feel, like in the face-to-face course at a smaller scale
  • A good balance between theory and exercises (breakout rooms, polls and quizzes)
  • Time efficiency, no traveling time, no accommodation needed

Fees based on format, duration, attendance and location

Instructors

Based in Brussels, Marines manages scientific and technical affairs supporting the nonwoven industry across personal and household hygiene, medical protection, filtration, automotive, and construction. He develops and implements industry standards and test methods, and manages technical education programmes. Marines is Dutch and will host and deliver the training with industry experts.

Who should attend

Both technical and marketing persons will benefit from attending this course. As they are likely to be involved with producers, suppliers, converters and retailers within the industry.

Language

The course language is English. The instructor will speak clearly and make extensive use of visual aids, videos and samples. Active participation is encouraged from all delegates.

Venue

The face-to-face course will take place at EDANA, 85 Avenue Nerviens, 1040 Brussels, Belgium, if a minimum of 10 participants is reached. If this condition is not met, the course may take place online or may be postponed.

Accommodation

EDANA will share hotel recommendations after receiving the participants' registration for the course.
