Jean Marie began his career in 1980 in the Quality Department of Brignoud (at the time a part of the Dexter Corporation). By 1999 when Dexter joined the Ahlstrom group, he was the Business Line Manager for Technical Nonwovens, and by 2004 was managing the Industrial Nonwovens division at Ahlstrom. Jean Marie finished his career with a fresh challenge at the packaging and lamination producer Walki Group as Executive Vice President, Consumer Packaging.
He will be fondly remembered by his peers in the EDANA network where he was equally appreciated for his “bon vivant” style and his deep experience and advice on industry topics.
We wish him well as sets out to enjoy the slopes near his Grenoble home and his family life as a young retiree.
We look forward to hopefully wishing Jean Marie well in person at one of our gatherings to celebrate the 50th anniversary of EDANA, to be held when circumstances allow.
